We setup this Taco Bar Dramatic Play Area in our house to pretend we’re having a taco party today! It’s such fun! I love seeing my kiddos imaginations work. Now, to prep a real family taco party for dinner.
We love dramatic play at our house! Hands down it’s one of our favorite things to do throughout the day. So, I try to come up with crafts and activities that keep the imagination at work.
My kids were introduced to the book Dragons Love Tacos last Summer (affiliate link for your convenience). And it’s still one of their favorite books to grab off the library shelf to read.
Dragons Love Tacos is such a cute book! The little boy walks you through how much dragons love tacos, how to get dragons to your taco party, and why to avoid putting spicy salsa on the taco bar. What will happen if you accidentally set it out?! The suspense!
That part is my son’s favorite part! Especially with my sound effects (lol).
Since we wanted to pretend we were having a taco party today, we made pretend play tacos. It took me less than 10 minutes to setup for the kids. I hope you have so much fun!
