When I found out that there is going to be a total solar eclipse across the United States, I got so excited!

A total solar eclipse across the United States doesn’t happen very often. The last one was February 26, 1979. So, you don’t want to miss this one!

Can you see why I’m so excited?! I remember seeing a partial solar eclipse, when I was a kid. And that was awesome! So, I can only imagine this!

The moment I found out, I told my son, “Hey, the moon is going to cover the sun!” He looked at me so confused. He asked, “Why?” My answer was not a very scientific one, “the moon does that sometimes.” He said, “Ok. Cool.”
