When I became a mother, I had no idea the brave-mama side of me I had to find. I kind of had to pull it out of thin air sometimes (at least that is what I thought). I had to look up, say a quick prayer and climb the mountain facing me mama-bear style.
Sometimes days go wrong and I have to face the day with warrior paint on. Then, I remind myself of Philippians 4:13.
With that awesome truth, I can step out each day knowing I can face my day with courage. I was born to be a mother. I was born to be my two kiddos’ mother. It might not look like the perfect snapshots seen on social media; but, I am doing it the best way I know how.
Don’t get me wrong, I have days I get fearful. I’m human. I get scared. I get fearful that I am doing it all wrong. But, I want to face those fears and overcome them. I want to chuck that feeling in the trash and be confident that I am doing it right. So, this is where the series comes in.
Be Brave – Overcoming Your Mom Fears
I will be writing twice a week about being brave and overcoming my mom fears and posting daily motivation on Instagram the entire month of October. Mama, I hope you follow along and we can work together on becoming brave. If you’d like to receive the posts via email, please enter your email address in the side bar. You will be emailed when there is a new post. I will also put all posts (blog and Instagram) here on the page below “Posts in this Series” to make it easier to follow along.
In this series we will be discovering our mom fears, what are days look like when fear consumes us, how to overcome the fears, ways to remind us to stay brave, and much more.
