Four Seasons Activity Puzzles

Make these four seasons activity puzzles for your preschooler to learn the four seasons. Read the book Tree to go along with it. It will be so fun!

We’ve been learning about the four seasons and reading the book Tree by Britta Teckentrup.

Tree is such a cute book! It’s a peek-through picture book that walks you and your child through the four seasons. Not only do the trees change, but different animals come out to play.

My son noticed the spider and it’s web. When the seasons changed, the spider’s web became bigger. He also noticed the birds in a nest and then there were eggs, and later baby birds.

Each time we read it, we found something new.

My son wanted to do an activity while I read the book to him. So, I made little tree puzzles for each season.

All you need is a little bit of cardboard, paint and scissors. Easy peasy!

Mix up all the puzzle pieces. Read the story. When the season changes, have your child find those pieces and put the puzzle together. Repeat as many times as your child would like.

That’s it! It’s pretty simple. But, my son really loved it.

My daughter got in on the action and mixed up all the puzzle pieces.
